I'm so mainstream when it comes to books. I really enjoyed the Hunger Games Trilogy and the Divergent Trilogy. However the Gone series by Michael Grant was also pretty good.
However, I fully recommend any of Stephen King's books as well (atm i'm reading "The Long Walk" and "The Running Man")
