Besides forgotten, no clan is ever "unopposed". There will always be some clan that believes that they can beat rebels. The problem, as you stated before was that not many people care. Don't worry though, knowing the clan community something will pop up.

love how fgt technically was best clan in every region

fgt = best us
eu fgt = best eu
phoenix (au fgt at one point) = best au

not rly sure about eu but pretty sure they were basically unbeatable and went 30-0 or something

As a person who has been on Clans since the original scrims of Rebels, Forgotten, and Primeval. I must say there are significantly less Clans that everyone appreciates and are well known. Are Clans Dead? When I came back early in November, cf918 and I both agreed, Clan are not the same as they once were. When I first got back into clans last months I had many hesitations in joining the Clans, because Clans just no longer scrimmaged and that bothered me. In this next statement, I am by no means trying to insult the people who run USCL, my personal opinion is USCL has kind of killed off Clans. It has made the battles on the leader boards more of a chore rather then a competition and does not work well for newer Clans.

In another recent conversation about Clan Events, I said there is just enough capable leaders stepping up to make Clans and have the determination to become #1. Personally, I think people do not make many Clans these days, because it would take you atleast 5 weeks to become #1 on the leaderboards with losing and that is a turnoff to many people who want to make Clans. I am going to selfish right now, Clan Wars anyone no matter their status or reputation can prove anything in this event, and is why I think it is so successful.

Staff, USCL, and Clans have been recently working together in recent months to help with any problems that arise in battles and other affairs. Corey and I tried to host Clan Wars differently last month, but those plans soon fell out, because of lack of communication and other duties to communication. I know recently USCL has been more in contact with the Administration Team to help improve upon some issues they are having such as banned players and possibly getting their own servers. Over the last six months, they have made some tries such as rules to regulate Clans, help solve Clan Battle problems, and get more involved. The problems with these attempts, they are either are too weak in getting involved or too hostile with the Clan Rules.

Personally, I think Rebels, but the viable opponent right now is Triton. Legacy still has some things, they must work out before beating them. Hey, if Protocol were to continue to stink around and be active, they might have a chance too, its just not possible with leaderboards as right now. All of these Clans are currently in Clan Wars, it will be a sight to see.

Clans are not Dead, they're just not where they once were.

Primeval :c

Anyways I totally agree, and I really I think the main reason isn't uscl but csgo. Face it, every good clan and their players play csgo. It has affeected everyone's pvp and the amount of scrimming.

The reason I decided to make the UCL is because I knew it was pretty much boiling down to just Rivals and Rebels, and I knew Rivals didn't have much time left. I made the league to try and revive clans, by making new relationships and getting newer players recognition so they could become successful. I know it worked out for some people, but in the end it did kind of take over, but then it died out for the most part, and now it's gone.

This thread is highly opinionated and also the reason I may well never come back to mcsg.

The title explains it all. I honestly think clans, at the time being, are dead. Now before you argue without reading my evidence and reasoning, I would like to explain myself.

I lost all hope in mcsg clans the second Rivals disbanded, because lets be honest, rivals was the only clan left who could beat rebels. Now that Rivals is gone, I think clans are pretty dead, considering Rebels is nearly unopposed. While this may or may not be true, the reason I say this is because Triton is very strong as so is Legacy, but do enough people from both those clans care enough to beat rebels? Rebels has been around a while. They do play other games, but they always play minecraft regularly, while some other people in said clans with potential, have members that could care less about minecraft. So now, assuming you've read this, post counter arguments or supporting arguments about the topic. Also I wrote this in less than 5 minutes, leaving lots of room for debate, also this is opinionated theory so don't hate on me thanks friends bye
You say there are no clans that are a match for Rebels (or at least no one who cares)? I think Redemption cares, and if they are not a match for Rebels now, I believe we will be. Now, on the topic on Legacy and Triton. I honestly think Rebels is better, but both are strong clans. I think they do care, but Triton has had a history of disbanding quite a bit. There will be a bit more rivalry when Rebels, Legacy, Redemption, Triton, and Trauma are all near the top (assuming they don't disband) but I know what you mean. Being at the top of the leaderboards doesn't mean as much as it used to. Where's Forgotten, Elevate, Valor, Beginning, Exodus, Vortex, Trivium, and Eternity? Eternity is at the bottom right now and moving up takes a while. Protocol isn't even in leaderboards. However, both Legacy and Redemption have moved up 20 spots, so that counts for something.

Honestly, I think this thread is just trying to emphasize Rivals, and this msg I am writing is from a person who knows you were stealthjet, GetHoundoomed
