A while back, you brought up the idea of having Community Ambassadors. Do you think something like this would be better managed by the Staffing Team in general, or specifically the Community Engagement Team? I told you when you brought it to me that it was an excellent idea, and I haven't forgotten about it.

I agree with much of what has been said: we don't want to repeat the same mistakes that we made before. I want to see the community give their feedback on how we're doing as staff and I read everything, so I'm going to use this as a little bit of a propeller into a question. What kinds of things can I do as a Team Lead, and someone that really wants what's best for my team and the community? What sorts of things would you like to see in terms of communication from my team, whether it's me or one of my Team Representatives? I'm open to anything.

I don't like that people are referring to it as power either. First, staff members are not supposed to be here for power. Staff, above all, are supposed to be in the position that they are in because they are passionate about the community and are qualified based on the Recruitment Team's assessment to make MCGamer a better place. However, I have rarely heard of any instances of this, so if you do hear it and it makes you concerned, please shoot me a message. Yes, there is a good amount of people that haven't been a staff member previously, but this isn't taken into account as far as I know (since my team doesn't handle the hiring of new moderators).

At the end of the day, we all play on the server, and we are all here because we care about MCGamer and the way it has affected us. Why else would there be nearly 20,000 users on our Discord and people that are passionate enough to make these threads? We need to work together to make sure that the community that we have is as good as it can be.
Very passionate... so passionate in fact that you've played 23 GAMES OF MCSG SINCE BETA?? I think deleting the points people are making on this thread and never playing the game are not good starts to communicating.

I'm a Team Lead, and most of my work limits the amount of time I can actually spend playing the game, but that's beside the point here. Sure, I've played 23 games, but most of my time spent on the server is hanging out in the hubs and talking to people.

And the only messages that were edited were the ones that contained sensitive information singling out specific staff members, simply because this isn't the right place to handle those things.

Hey can we like uh...not attack the people who actually have the power to enact the change that we’re here asking for? It only makes the community look toxic and immature. Like it or not, they just aren’t going to want to listen and work with people who are constantly attacking them over some dumb stuff
