If you're giving HACKERS, the people who MEAN TO CAUSE HARM another chance...
...Why wouldn't you give people who deleted evidence another chance?...

I hope the staff meeting ends well. This rule needs some heavy modification.

First off, I'd just like to thank you for taking the time to report hackers and make the MCGamer Network a better community. While the staff team gets tons of abuse reports each day, we take the time to look through and discuss the evidence given to us. If someone is breaking any of the rules, they will get punished appropriately based on which rule(s) they broke and how many times they do it. We don't permanently ban someone for hacking the first time because we want to give players a second chance to prove that they won't do it again. Sure, someone might ignore their offense and go ahead and break the rules again, but others will understand this and learn from their mistakes. You suggested a perm ban for obvious hacks, but aren't all hacks obvious? Isn't that why we ban them? For hacking? You also mentioned that there should be a perm ban on second offense hacks and, this might surprise you, but you do get banned permanently for second offense hacking.

This is not true. We tell people to not delete evidence they uploaded because we need evidence incase we want to look over the footage at a later date when, for example, someone wants to see why they got banned or dispute their ban. If someone doesn't want to keep the evidence, why keep even upload it? We let you put it on unlisted so your channel isn't flooded with abuse reports.
And you also tell people not to hack. But they get a second chance? And people that delete evidence don't? And I find it funny, that ONLY STAFF are the people that agree with the rule.

Look guys, I have recorded and reported countless hackers on the servers, only for them to either not be banned, or come back after their week suspension and keep hacking. Now I know MCgamer has a really good staff team. But their is a point where we have to realize that a little warning wont change a hackers opinion. they don't get it. This is why I suggest permaban for obvious hacking or permaban on second offence of hacks. It would keep the servers far cleaner. The people who hack on minecraft are as low as you will find, and that's not something that I think MCgamer should be letting swim in their pool.
thanks :)
It is true. If people here realize how serious a punishment it is to hack, then they won't do it. I am really on the edge of quitting mcsg and moving on with my life from this game until this is solved.

First off hacking is a perm ban on the second offense, and second off, it really in the long run is only fair if we gave hackers a second chance. The first time is their "warning" so to speak, imagine if for one bank robbery you spend the rest of your life in jail? The first offense might just have been them using mini-map and not knowing it's against the rules. But all in all being fair is what mcgamer is about, the hacker might take the ban to heart and turn it around to become a great member of the community. The staff team tries hard to keep hackers off the servers but we also have to remember that there are human beings behind that steve skin, and that we should be considerate of them to.
What is the percentages of this happening?
