Quality Over Quantity

Can we leave Wyvern's Wake out of this? Please? I know that one half of the map truly is horrible, but the other half is so much fun. And I know you're targeting the new new maps like Rugged Lands, Treacherous Heights, etc, but still, Wyvern's Wake is amazing. /point

Yeah, this is really something to consider. I hardly ever get to play SG1, SG2 and I haven't played SG3 in months! I do love some of the new maps though, I'll list the ones I like the most:

- Holiday Resort
- Valleyside University

Now with Rugged Lands/Treacherous Heights- I love them, but I know a lot of other people don't because the gameplay so I would say do a vote on those.

But yah, can't go wrong with quality over quantity.

I wrote a 1k document regarding this on my iPod. So when I cet home, I have a lot to wrote, anyway yes. Maps are supposed to be special, not the average thing we do every week

I definitely agree about this! I told MCSG about this on Facebook, and I know I've said it before, but this is what I told them:

"Hello MCSG. I'd like to discuss something that's been in my mind and that has really begun to upset me. Lately, I've seen you add a ton of new maps to the servers. Though I do like new additions, I've seen you guys have been too lenient on the judging of the maps. The classics are so well made, but adding these new ones...I mean your standards have significantly dropped. Take the Hell Games for example. It's pretty much a replica of SG1, just with more trees. What I'm trying to say is that Quality > Quantity. I'd rather play 10 superb maps than 50 not-so-great maps. I don't think you get this quite often, but I just wanted to share what I think. If you would like to further discuss upon this, my MCSG forums account is Mamiamato24, you can PM me there.
Thank you for your time!"

And they answered with:

We do agree lately that some new maps that were popular within the forums had not been the highest of quality. but this is why we are hosting a huge map contest in PMC. Some of the maps you stated are actually going to be replaced with the winners of the contest. If you have seen any high quality maps on PMC or our site you would like to see added, be sure to link it here."

I agree. Does anyone else remember all the hype when sg 2 and sg 3 first came out? I miss that happening when we get new maps. That's when I enjoyed playing those 2 maps the most, when all the hype was built up about them because getting new map use to be a HUGE deal, but now no one really seems to care and I'm left with my memories of the sg 2 release

same here. nowadays, we get new maps.. and people are still picking (one of the now many) breeze island or sg 4. also, we are getting so many new maps that... well atleast i am... forgetting where my chest route is because i played a SIMILAR-LOOKING map.
