Tell us your different anecdotes an feelings about this update after around 3 weeks, In my case in the first days of the update I was not able to play on it cause I had a ping of 200, when I returned to 1.8 my ping was 90 so I decided to stay on it, and you?

I play on 1.7, as I just prefer it much more. At this point people play on what they want to, some play on 1.8, some on 1.7, and some both.

I'm very happy that the listened to the community, even though everyone got over it soon enough.

I wasn't happy though that soon after the same group of people complaining about 1.8 were complaining about 1.7

Either way the Devs can't make everyone happy.

I love it. I am absolutely terrified of 1.9 coming out as everything officially said from the Mojang devs about it seem like the update will be awful. Hopefully MCGamer will support 1.7, 8 and 9 when its released.

I doubt they will support all of them as 1.9 includes duel wielding.

1.9 isn't looking good for SG, but for SMP this is a dream update.

Well, maybe we will suffer as same as 1.8 everyone would try it and they will stay with the versions with less complains.

I'm not very good at PvP, so 1.8 doesn't really change anything, I just use 1.8 because most servers need 1.8.

Same with me, but I use 1.7 because I never got around to installing Optifine on 1.8. So I use my old 1.7 Optifine.

I can't see my skin on multiplayer when I use 1.7 for some reason so I just use 1.8. Even if I could see my skin it doesn't really matter to me whether I'm using 1.7 or 1.8.
