I'm sorry, but this reminds me a lot of Valleyside University.
The layout and brick patterns seem incredibly similar to me, although, it could just be me.

Regardless of that, looks pretty good.
I'm interested to see what it looks like finished .

It's basically the same thing as your idea.

WAY too flat. Big, open areas without structures and/or terraforming is never good for Survival Games. You should definately use alot bigger variation of blocks at the cornucopia, as it is looking extremely bland.
