Community Opinion: Boosting Reset Wins Punishment?

Should player's found guilty of boosting have their stats reset?

I heard that Jetsify & Septology are making an account called Septify or Jetology and plan on getting 1000/1000

Seems like a good idea to me. Also is a strong deterrent! I think it should be done.

Really, a simple question which I would like to see the communities point of view..

Boosting is done to get wins, why not remove them when they are caught?
So, if anyone is caught boosting, their stats should be reset to nothing and they must start clean again?

Do you agree?
Do you disagree?

I agree with this, aslong as the evidence is 100% solid of-course :)

Edit : There should be a way to prevent people from boosting to get a "free" stats reset though. ( Of-course they get an additional punishment but I can still see people do this... ).

I can definitely see the logic behind this, however, in my opinion, it wouldn't solve much. I feel as though if their stats were reset if they were caught boosting, then they would only come back and boost more.

Personally, I believe that boosting should be a more serious offense and be punishable for longer periods of time; but hey, that's just me.

I don't think they should get their stats reset, only their wins. People would just start boosting to get a stat reset, then boost even more to get a good ratio. They should reset their wins and keep games played, so it's still a punishment
Agreed bcuzimbad :D

The only issue I would have with this is people deliberately boosting just so that they can get a stat reset without having to pay for one.
It's a tricky discussion. I like your idea but there needs to be another way.
Edit: Perhaps a more severe punishment along with the stat reset would deter people from deliberately boosting for one.

The way that Bcuzimbored1243 said could work, if their wins got reset down to 0 and their games played stayed at what they are now.

That would stop people from deliberately boosting to get a stats reset. Meh c;

Yes. That is a good idea actually.. Although it would be difficult to do that, especially with the overall leaderboard (when it comes out)

I think it depends. If say they have a 7 team and are boosting, then that should be punishable. If it is just a 2 team, which can be easier to deal with, then not really.
