When I was 5 and my sister was 2, I was watching the land before time at my father's house, when a great idea dawned on me. "Why not watch my Peanut Butter And Jelly sandwich on the VCR?" I said to myself. When my father went upstairs to get us apple juice, I went for it.
I put the sandwich in the VCR.
I don't know what I expected, but the spreads just oozed out of the sandwich onto the carpet floor. I jumped back onto the couch when I heard my father come down the stairs. He saw the mess and immediately asked me what happened, and I was quick to point the blame at my barely able to talk sister who couldn't defend herself. I still don't know if he believed me, I just know I didn't get in trouble.
