Default, it's better. You are more accurate since everything is bigger, and you're better at running with it, because then your perspective is straight.

Normal, I just think quake pro looks ugly when playing and it's harder for me to focus, it doesn't really effect my gameplay either as I am always aware of my surroundings.

I actually play on 120 FOV (Greater than Quake) Because its assists me alot in everything in general. The only bad thing is if you throw a speed potion on me well then I'm blind...

I used to always play on normal. Then I got into factions and PvP and heard it could help, so I changed it up to quake pro, got bored, turned it down to 90 and that's where it sits to this day! (Also 90 is the FOV I play CoD on)

Normal FOV. Quake Pro is ugly when you're not PvPing.

Isn't changing settings beyond minecraft illegal?

Such as changing brightness via options.txt, I believe changing quake pro is also illegal in MCSG. (Not 100% sure though)

There's honestly no difference. I played on Normal for about 8 months, and one day wanted to try Quake Pro, and it's what I play now.
