I agree with you, Hungry Hills was one of the most well built Maps we had, it made it feel like you could gather recourses without having to run into someone every 5 seconds, it made it feel like the actual Hunger Games.

Take all the bad maps away, the only maps that should be on mcsg are:

Survival Games 1-5
Teweran 1-3
Breeze Island
Holiday Resort

Also, I think MCSG could improve by adding a parameter to the /sponsor command that goes something like this:

/sponsor name

*screen opens*

You select an item to sponsor. Go down to the textbox at the bottom and type in a short message to go along with the gift. :D

The only downside to this is that some people might "sponsor" hate messages, but really....if yo hate someone that much, why the heck are you sponsoring them in the first place?

Fresh_Aire, chexmixtoon, and bowser6669 can all attest to Fortune Island's being a good, popular map.

EDIT: So did anyone else like my suggestion back a couple of posts ago having to do with the sponsoring of items and sending a short message along with? I've done a bit of work with applets and applications, but I haven't done much Java in Minecraft so I don't know about how much work you'd be putting in to implement a text box, but it's not like it's the equivalent of a creative mode text box or anything.

And I've not even played 900 games yet. (Speaking of number of games, would you mind PMing me that lovely lovely stat tracker you have?).

And to keep this thread on topic, another suggestion to make MCSG better would be *racks brain*:

Get rid of /hub? ^_^ (I know this won't happen, but I'll be praying to Herobrine for it daily.). *whispers* "I want my direct connect ability back!" #sadface :(

The creators of MCSG designed a brilliant game with the intent of making a place where people can come and play a game that began with little or no direction. The addition of the recently added HUB system is glitchy but that is to be expected until it is fully up and running which takes time. Plus with updates from Mojang to work around it can't be easy... The devotion to the servers is amazing so to make it better with the addition of mobs, why not add the "new" section off of the HUB? Letting people choose a game with/without the Mobs active. It would be a little more work to design but would take less time to integrate to the servers, still giving the veterans a choice and the new players a chance to explore first... Just my 2 cents on the idea

Notch: "Trolol!"

As for your idea, I think it could be a good one, but perhaps you could let the players in a particular game vote on whether or not to have mobs. It could also be set to random, so you have a 50/50% chance (and Random class methods are rather easy to code in Java).[/quote]

I agree with that idea, I didn't think of the voting system. It could make it just as fair and still be a lot of fun for everyone
