I feel like these hashtags are way to overused. Like will they do anything? No if u actually cared about it u wouldnt just post it on the internet I'm shocked about it but I wont be "praying" for them since I have no contact with any of the people there

It is somewhat overused but honestly, you don't need to know them personally to sympathize with them. Put yourself in their shoes.
