It's not a violation of any rule, and is completely allowed and legitimate, and fair. It's their fault for getting themselves in that position, and their fault for letting YOU get in the position that you're in, in a way.

Yea I killed one person like this and he warned me he will ban me.
He told me I was breaking the rules.
I told him I am not breaking the rules because I do not remember I read anything like that so I went to check out and still not found anything about fishing rod in official MCSG rules.
So I made a post to be sure.
