Map Voting and It's Cons.

I see both pros and cons for voting, it's good to vote, but the spam is annoying.

Here's a suggesstion:
Since there are so many individual servers, why not dedicate a few to random maps? It could appease those who want random, while the bulk of the players continue to vote on the majority of the servers

I both agree and dis-agree for reasons already stated, but the worst is when Map X already has like 14 votes and people still spam even though that map had already won.

Yea they should try having a mod on every server to make sure no one is spamming or cursing its pretty funny though

We shouldn't have to be in every server, you should all know the rules by know to follow them.


I would like to see voting gone, ever since it was out there is spamming on every server. I also like the suprise you get when you get a different map, makes the game more fun because you never know what you are going to get.

Yea they be spamming map 4 i was in us18 and we played map 4 at least 11 times in a row.....

Glad to see that a mod agrees, but here's an idea. This won't resolve the spam problem, but what if you could vote for a random map? Like this if you agree! (This sounds like a youtube comment lol)

i think if many ppl want to play that map it should be so truly i dont like map 3 but if it gets pick i cant do anything u just have to enjoy the game

I agree with Zerukai, You should be able to vote for a random map, that would answer the problem of the post, people want to be surprised and go oh look yay map 2. If the majority of the people in the lobby want that surprise. It will happen.

You lose points to the last person who hit you i you dont win. Since you havn't been hit, you dont lose points

I believe the Mods here have lives, and are not slaves to the community here. There are 70 servers, running 24 hours a day. (Some are not always online, so we'll say there's 50 servers up 24/7) That's a lot of work you're asking for, and there is a perfectly good "Report Abuse" section. Contrary to popular belief, The Staff here are people, like you and me.

Now, about this thread.
I think some servers should have voting, maybe half of each regions servers; some should not have voting. That idea is the best of both worlds, and that way everyone would be happy.
