Hello Tributes!
Over the past 7 weeks, we have been holding the Winter EU Cleansweeps in an attempt to get rid of as many pesky hackers on the EU network as possible. And in the end, we succeeded. Along with the new hacking policy regarding a first offense permanent ban, and the recent MCGamer 1.8 update, we were able to significantly decrease the amount of hackers on the EU network, and on the other regions as well. Therefore, we have decided to end the Operation Cleansweep EU (also known as the Ew Clensweps) to give our participants a break and simply because our main goal has been achieved: decreasing the amount of hackers.
At this point in time, EU is able to stand on her own again and fight back those hackers. Therefore, we wanted to focus some more on other regions, such as US and CA, and we decided to organize Cleansweeps for these regions as well. Are you interested in joining? In case we notice a big increase on the EU network, our Cleansweep staff team will raise up and swing her ban hammer again to sweep them off the servers once more.
In previous operations, this has proven to be a successful option in eliminating hackers from the EU network; however, we are always looking into ways to make the operation even more successful. If you have any ideas for future EU Cleansweeps, feel free to PM AlpakaWhacker, Scott , Axanite, mfungamer and / or myself (Nephilim). Regarding the US/CA Cleansweeps, feel free to PM Col_StaR , Jodimo ,ChandelleMC , Scott or AlpakaWhacker. In order to catch more hackers, we organize 2 hour cleansweeps during the peak times on the according network and sometimes an impromptu sweep which would last for an hour on average.

45 of those were community members.
57 of those were staff members.
14 hours of sweeps.
56 hackers were banned.
52 of those bans were permanent.
4 of those were 1 week.
An average of 8 bans were made each session.
14 hackers were found and recorded by members of the community.
And of course, our All Time Statistics, combining week 1 until 7:
747 participants.
299 of those were community members.
448 of those were staff members.
98 hours of sweeps.
661 hackers were banned.
257 of those bans were permanent.
404 of those were 1 week.
An average of 13.037 bans were made each session.
110 hackers were found and recorded by members of the community.

First of all, and you are probably tired already of me saying this over and over again, but I want to thank every single one of you who attended a Cleansweep session so much. Without your help, we wouldn't have achieved what we have today and you guys can be proud and say that you have helped resolve EU's biggest problem until now, the hackers. This is to both the Staff and the Community! <33
However, there were some people who have showed exemplary service during the Cleansweeps and therefore, they deserve a shoutout and a little thank you gift in the form of a forums medal.
First of all, the EU OCS Staff team: Thank you AlpakaWhacker Scott Axanite and mfungamer for your support and for helping running the cleansweeps when I couldn't make it. Also thank you to Holiday , David|Optics and tayemack123 for running some of them as well. <3
Thank you to the staff team in general! You guys have filed around 450 bans during the Cleansweeps which is absolutely amazing. <3
To those who showed outstanding service, here's a shoutout: Mauro croe97 JLioner Zaex and Gustyy Holiday Attorah Drako TotalDramaTony charliewolves David|Optics Imaboss2414|Rish and soggypickle !
And of course, thank you to the community for helping out as well! Even though you don't have access to for example our /reports list in-game, or you don't get poked about hackers, you still managed to get rid of 110 of them, which is awesome. <3
