This. Really interested in the game, but it's so squad based that I don't think it would be really all that fun alone.

It would be a bit fun. You are never really alone, just try to fight at the hotspots. 'cus there are empire-mates there.

Even so I think the fun level would drastically change if you played with friends. I guess since its free why not give it a try though.
