The map is not finished yet and we still need to add more But thanks for the feedback!Looks like a nice map..
Just looks like there's a lot of plain space.

Only 65% done, having an aerial view would be quite pointless at this point in time. We have a lot of redstone traps that aren't that common nowadays. We will be holding test games on the Kithex server for people to check out.Meh, I'm not so keen on this one :/ there's not enough ariel views of the map in your trailer and screenshots, you've seemed to put a lot of effort in the map to make it different from all the others, which I really love, I'm just not so keen on the idea/theme :/
When are the test games taking part?Only 65% done, having an ariel view would be quite pointless at this point in time. We have a lot of redstone traps that aren't that common nowadays. We will be holding test games on the Kithex server for people to check out.
Once the map is done. Some time in June. When are the test games taking part?
65% done. That terraforming near the train is a little weird to me. Too abrupt.
I understand what you mean but we indeed intend for the contrast. The mansion is to symbolise wealthiness and contrast from the town. The plantations, where the slaves stay are even lower standard. It shows the three classes.Looking back over the pictures, I see that there is no consistent theme. In one part of the map, you have a western-styled, market, whereas the theme is located in late 19th century Eastern USA, and then another part you have a very town-styled mansion, made out of a completely different block pallet and style, and then you have some very 17th century, large, medieval, ships.
It all looks very nice, but it's just way to random and off-theme. Pick a theme, a pallet, and use it through-out the build.
As the slave trade was illegal at the time, slave traders wouldn't have access to motorised ships and therefore relied upon older 1750's vessels to carry out the slave trading. The mansion belongs to the Mayor of the town, and as the owner of the plantations, likes to flaunt his wealth about, deciding to build an elaborate mansion using the finest carvings of stone. The variation (as KitMencha mentioned) shows the distribution of wealth throughout society, and the conditions under which slaves were forced to work.Looking back over the pictures, I see that there is no consistent theme.
