Once every now and then, we all look back and think about how something once was. Every so often, we might look back at what we once had. We might regret ever leaving it or we might long for what something once was. This....This is one of those times.
Years after the disease ravaged Icarus, space stations all across the galaxy were decimated. One space station in particular held out against all odds- The Crucible.....That is, until recently.....
However, this space station still differed from all others, even after its collapse. How? It had survivors...
As the two survivors drifted through space in the last spacecraft, they couldn't help but wonder what is waiting for them at their destination, Earth. Countless years had passed since these two had last set eyes upon their home planet so all they could do was dream what it would hold. The closer they got, the more prevalent the question became: "What will it be like- Earth? Just like in our memories?"
This map is a prequel map for our upcoming final draft- Memory of Earth. This version, Day Zero, represents the last day the survivors were on Earth before the virus was released (Day Zero of the final days). We will be using this specially for a never before seen tournament style. In the coming future, we will hold test games as we did for all of our other maps but this one will be different. It will be set up so there is four first round games. The remaining six players in each of these rounds will all move on to the championship game which will be used to showcase the final map. The last three remaining players in this championship game will receive prizes (some include free ranks on the Red Forest server for the ability to view any projects we're working on).
