This is NOT the place to argue over which Natural Disaster, Act of War, or Hate Crime was the most devistating. This is the place to bow your heads in respect to ANYBODY, not just 911 victims, who has lost their life in an unjust way. Have a little respect. Take a moment of silence.

I lost my uncle and my cousin in the fall of the South Tower. :(
The_Soy_Man, I now think of you with a new respect. Not a whole lot of people would have thought of creating a thread like this, so the fact that a 14 year old boy (I dont mean this offensively) did think of it is honorable.

Every year at my school, all the students make and place red, white, and blue markers in the pattern of a giant american flag. Every marker has a name of one of the 2,986 victims of that horrible day.
For some reason, it won't let me post a picture of the flag, so I'm just going to link you a site where it talks about the project:

Yeah. just look at the pictures if you're interested.

I saw this video the other day on youtube, and I almost cried when I saw it.
Story about how everyone on the sea near Manhattan all responded to one call of a boat. Really was amazing.

“Now, we have inscribed a new memory alongside those others. It’s a memory of tragedy and shock, of loss and mourning. But not only of loss and mourning. It’s also a memory of bravery and self-sacrifice, and the love that lays down its life for a friend–even a friend whose name it never knew."

- President George W. Bush, 2001

11 years. Never forget.
