Well one time I got into the final 5, and a skeleton, creeper, and zombie killed me at the same time, it was a jacked up game for me

I personally vote no to all forms of hostile mob spawns, toggle-able or not, but that's just my opinion which could easily be swayed.

if they put on mobs they would have to disable spiders and enderman as they were the buggy mobs regarding spectators. Personally I would only have zombies active as they pose a threat to noobs and unarmed players but apart from that relatively easy, whereas skeletons and creepers sometimes wipe out the competition too early which sometimes ruins the games

That's a good point. If they enabled strictly Zombies and nothing else I wouldn't mind.
