Seriously! Gold Swords are the worst of all the swords you can have. They do the same damage as a wood sword but have less durability than them. Here's the order from least to greatest Wood Axe, Gold Sword, Wood Sword, Stone Axe, Stone sword, Diamond Hoe, Steel Sword diamond sword

The thing is, what if you only have gold, but not enough for armor? I would use it for a sword. Better than your fists at least

Axes do half the damage of the same material sword so a stone axe is worst than a wood sword
