I find it just a little bit irrelevant to bring back 1.7 about everyone has already gotten used to 1.8. I mean, 1.7 was overall the better version to begin with but it's been almost a year already with 1.8 only on MCSG. Why do it now?

I agree with bringing it back, I just want to know why bring it back almost a year later? 1.9 is right around the corner.
