What Ex-Staff member do you want to come out of retirement?

There was a thread about this; the Sr. Mods reviewed all friend ranks and decided if a) they still deserved the rank, b) deserved a higher rank, or c) they didn't deserve the rank. Those who did and still do deserve it have platinum, if they deserved a higher rank; they received VIP, if they no longer deserved the rank; they were degraded to their previous non-staff rank

No, it is true. It has always been stated that if you become a moderator and resign, then you shouldn't expect to get a reward for your work.
Since they got rid of the friend rank, there have been so many ex-staff members who had that rank who now have no special rank at all, even they should have got it, since they had the friend rank. But yeah, that's the way its runs now....

Being an ex-staff/friend rank, I am disappointed that they didn't transfer everyone's rank over to platinum and I know others also felt that way. But I'm not going to pester the staff to give me the rank back, since I don't play here anymore, just disappointed that it wasn't done better.

That's not how it works at all, I was a Sr mod, I know how it works. If its deemed not enough work was done in the time a person was a mod, they don't get platinum. Simples. If they do enough and are seen to have done enough they get rewarded. If they don't and think they should've they should contact Sr Staff and ask, because it could be that the rank had just never been set.

EDIT; It also makes me sad that I don't think I was the last one to interview by him, but he lead my interview in which I became a mod, and boy, he was such a gentleman, need more people like that. However I am not certain but I do know that I was one of the last people who Bic interview before he went off and died.... ;w; Sad teims, sad teims.
