Wow. That seems really different from what we have in the States. This is how it works in my specific area.

Primary School: Kindergarten to Grade 3
Intermediate School: Grade 4 to Grade 5
Middle School: Grade 6 to Grade 8
High School: Grade 9 to Grade 12
Anything past that is usually called college, but bigger institutions for more refined degrees are sometimes called universities.
