What is the best way to sort your hotbar?

This is in my opinion the best setup for those who use scroll and hotkeys

1. Diamond Sword
2. Bow
3. Fishing Rod
4. Flint and Steel
5. Flint and Steel
6. Flint and Steel
7. Golden Apple
8. Food
9. Arrows

There is no 'best' setup, as it's all preference based. However, I go with:

Sword
FnS
Bow
Golden Apple(s)
Arrows
Food
Food
(Second FnS)(If none, food)
Fishing rod

Like the above person stated, there's not really a "best" hotbar. It all depends on what you're comfortable using.
Personally, my hotbar usually looks like this:

This is how I like it. My mouse is a Razer Naga so I have 1-12 on the side of my mouse. I use this to hotkey thus the fns in 7,8,9 so I can pull of some neat/sneaky fns tricks c:

Just saying, Rod in 2) is a necessity.

5). Golden grap
6). Highest saturated food or pumpkin pie (for chases)
7). Golden carrot(s)
8). F&s
9). F&s

For deathmatch: Bow goes in slot 2, rod in slot 9, f&s is now in slots 3-5, golden graps in 6, food in 7 & 8.

This setup would change so people don't know my strategy, but I'm too lazy and almost never run into forumers in-game (and when I do, I usually team with them anyway).

Why do people have so much food in their hotbars..? Pretty sure an extra few FnS' will help more... You only really need 2 slots anyway, gapple and high saturation food.

Wouldn't that extra FnS help more than having more food in your hotbar?
