Depends if you've come from a PvP background. If you do it means you'll have a lot more experience and skill, and will probably win a few games early on. However, when I first started playing, it was maybe my first ever experience on servers. I'd just played survival for 6 months on a non premium account. Anyways I didn't win til ages and ages after my first game so my Win/Loss is around 0.12 - 0.15 (can't check on iPad). I've won about 170 from 1100. So really depends where you've come from.

The old players tend to have the lower W/L ratios like me. Now adays it's easy to become a pro, when I started I had to learn all my strategies from scratch and make my own map routes.
