MCGamer Rules Need to Change

I don't have time to make a detailed post, but I whole-heartedly agree there needs to be re-evaluation in the way we look at gamma given how we're practically the only compwtitive network; or only network at all that still punishes for gamma.

Given that and the rising popularity of texture pack makers making broght lightmaps (that are NOT gamma) I think it's time to reevaluate.

It isn't modifying your .minecraft folder. If it was, it would be bannable which it states in the rules. It's called regedit and it's allowed on this server. It improves your ping latency towards this server which isn't that bad but with regedit, it can change the knockback of a player somewhat reducing it.

Yeah I've been telling staff this for months, and I guess it really only takes a youtuber being banned to get them to think about it. Nonetheless I'm glad staff is listening.

I agree with you, modifying your gamma should be allowed, especially since there's probably only like 3 gamma punishments per month due to how challenging it is for someone to make a self report...

Although bcfcant did break the rules, he deserves a ban. On this event however, the staff or administration need to re-evaluate the worthiness of gamma being against the rules.
