To stop all toxicity

Unfortunately with large scale multiplayer games toxicity comes with it. With so many mixed feelings between different players and the invicibilty being behind the screen you get, this is just a problem that we will have to deal with. We can create as many filters as we want, but no matter how hard we try abuse and toxicity will always be a thing, no matter what our rules are.

Best thing to do is either learn to ignore it or laugh at it. Nowadays I've gotten so much abuse from being well known in AU I tend to crack up laughing when someone offends me (there is a really funny aspect to people trash talking it's hilarious) and also being someone that has played a lot of ranked games in league of legends all the way to diamond and I tend to instinctively ignore arguments and focus on my own gameplay. That is enough proof to prove that being able to laugh off or ignore toxicity is easily possible.

He could quite possibly be new on this account.. that doesn't particularly make him new in the community.. he's making quite a clear acknowledgement of how the community has been working recently so he has had to experience it one way or another, regardless of that situation he isn't doing anything wrong by making this thread, in fact he's trying to help so there's no real point in attacking him for it. Repetition can lead to people actually listening.. I know for a fact that with my previous threads about bullying/depression, some of the people who were pretty toxic in the AU community commented on those threads apologizing and spoke to me via teamspeak to apologize, now if I hadn't have made those threads and no one saw it those people would probably be just as toxic and still bringing people down without thinking of the consequences.. It's the same for these types of threads, not everyone may listen but even just one or two people is a start. You know yourself the staff team can only do so much and then it comes down to the community and I'm all for community members wanting to have a positive say because at least they aren't here to tear people down.

But he can prove that he doesn't have one linked to his forum account, therefore proving that he can't prove he has an account himself. You know, like he did.

If you gave a map a chance instead of Survival Games 4 you'd be surprised. Doesn't take long to learn a chest route.

One person giving a map a chance won't make a difference. You'd need everyone to, but you get caught in that scenario where people shun the new maps, only play the ones that they know, then the voices of the community, the forums, complains about no new maps being added. It's a stupid way to go about things, and MCSG should stop listening to the biased forums and go with the statistics that will make the majority of the servers happy.

In-game polls are the way to go. Of course, TS and forums are invaluable but the vast majority of the players never go on either of those platforms. If there were links to the same poll on all three platforms, likely the issue with forums-biased maps making it through would diminish severely.
