1.7 fishing junk - potions

So according to the wiki (http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Version_history/Development_versions), with the release of 1.7, we will be getting junk in addition to fish, "including damaged fishing rods, Water Bottles, rotten flesh, string, leather, bowl, sticks, boots or damaged boots." So we get water bottles, plus a chance of catching a puffer fish is a chance to make a water breathing potion. So because it's so easy to make potions, does that mean they will allowed when 1.7 comes out?

Potions aren't necessarily banned. Certain OP ones in maps are, but some are.

I think if you're gonna take the time to brew a potion, it shouldn't be bannable. Unless it's really OP, or makes you seem like you're hacking (such as speed potion. For people with particles off, it could seem like hacking), I think they should be allowed.

The night vision potion in Survival Kingdom isn't banned, and the Instant Health potion on Valleyside University isn't banned. I think it is just the really OP potions that are banned, like the regeneration potion on Rugged Lands. I don't think a water breathing potion would be considered OP, so I think it is allowed. Besides, there aren't that many brew stands if any on most MCSG maps.

I've used the instant health potion on Valleyside before and got warned by a mod to not do that, then the Hub mods confirmed it banned.

I think its bullcrap that some potions are banned from maps in the first place. If you don't want people to use it, REMOVE IT FROM THE MAP! Also, make it clearly understandable that they are banned.
Note: I've checked the rule list( which in itself was difficult to find)http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/threads/mcsg-updated-rules-version-3-0.12254/ and it does not say anywhere that potions are banned.
