The only problem i have with this, is how you're only talking about the forums. We have two other platforms, which are equally important (If not more important) to moderate. If there was something like this, it would have to take the player's activity on the other platform into account.
That's a lot harder to do, case in point: the TeamSpeak server. I'm aware of this, and I was trying to think of ways that this could be tended to, but I couldn't find any.

In-game checks would be much easier I'd imagine, as all you'd have to do is look at when a player first joined (that should be facilitated by the same system as stats I'd think) and how many games they've played.

I only made the forums my focal point because it's very easy to check activity, as it's literally underneath someone's name when they post (date of joining, post count) as well as it being the major hub of the community (not to be confused with the network, in which case the server itself is the major hub).

This is so amazing and should be implemented.
I hear from a lot of people that they got denied for being inactive or being new to the community, yet I see people that are very new get accepted.
I feel like they should just have a standard time you would have to be active before you can apply for moderator.

Its a yes from me ;)

I do not support this, a lot of new mods said they would not have gotten mod if this happened, And I think it's terrible to see them get demoted because they worked so hard for it.

You are saying that because you got waiting and you are new, aren't you? :/

Yes, partially, but I've met alot of new mods and they said they would have got declined if this happened, And After talking to them, they are such great people and have the responsibilities.

How can you tell that if you only talked to them?

hmm i do agree with this
I don't like when people seem to appear from nowhere on the forums, get mod, and then disappear again. In my opinion all mods should be at least fairly active ingame, on the forums and on ts because they are all just as important ^.^

I respect your opinion, but at the same time I did accommodate for those newer members who would be great mods by suggesting some sort of possible exception to the rule, similar to the old Age Exception process. If these mods are as good as they seem to think they are, passing this little test should be no problem. It would also filter out the people that join the community and decide to get mod for their own personal gain, which I'm starting to see quite a bit, whether they'd be happy to admit it or not..

There's a perm banned alt who has applied for moderator and has waiting rank on ts. Also, quite a few people have applied for mod and they don't have the best reputation in the community (in my opinion). It makes sense to do background checks on the moderators that have applied for their position so I think this is a good idea :)

One major thing I think there missing is staff that is in clans im not talking about clan staff there is plenty of that and the do a lot and help the community however just inside the clans like actual players we are lacking many of them however there is plenty of staff in clans currently i think there should be more do to the fact that clans is one of the main things holding half this community together
