Personally middle school was some of the worse years of my life. You're in an awkward stage where you're trying to find out who you are and who you want to be. This stage is totally normal. Just try not to find yourself in a position that could injure your reputation.

Dont tell people you play minecraft

This one's actually crucial to follow. You'd think that people would have matured a bit for some reason (which is completely false). You really don't want to undergo the torrential embarrassment of when people discover you play that game. For some odd reason, people have a negative perception of people who play Minecraft. As long as you follow this, you'll be safe from social pressure for the most part.

Don't get caught up in wanting to become the "popular kids". People that skip classes and break the rules are going to end up working at McDonalds for the rest of their life (that's what I like to think about). Never stoop to their shallow level. Get good grades and don't do drugs.

Um, just enjoy it while you have it. I took middle school for granted while I was there but now I really miss it. I thought I hated middle school but high school (for me, at least) has been absolutely terrible so far and I just started my sophomore year. Anyways, the work isn't too bad I think and it gets worse in HS, so as long as you're happy where you are socially you'll be fine.

In my point of view middle school is the funnest -snip-. More off-school days, actually good teachers, kids are actually serious sometimes and I have the same interests with some of them.

For tips, just don't complain about homework. Just don't. Try to be a good student and the teachers may favor you sometimes (just don't be a dork, then you're -snip- from the other kids). Try to be friends with everyone and generally socialize.

I live in Australia but the only tip I can give you, don't hang around with the wrong people because then you find the wrong girl and get her pregos (pregnant) and your life is ruined, one of my acquaintances at school has a kid, his life is gone.
