There is a large discussion around whether blatant hackers or autoclickers will be banned through the new update, which introduces a new Anti-Cheat system. The staff of MCGamer are confident that this Anti-Cheat will instantly ban all hackers, along with the support from the many moderators working hard each day to give this server a hacker free future. My proposal includes unbanning all people banned for over 6 month old evidence of hacking, all people deserve a second chance on this server and with the new installation of the Anti-Cheat anyone who continues to cheat will be banned. This idea will not only give people another chance, it will assist in future growth of the MCGamer network through bringing back old players who could have been unfairly banned or legitimately banned for a first offence.

6 months seems a bit soon, if you think about it.

Hypothetically, say we did this. Now we have thousands- maybe tens of thousands- of players banned legitimately. While a good lot of them are pushing for a second chance, a bigger portion are simply cheaters and will continue to do so.

If this were to come into action (which knowing the administration's position on unbanning hackers- is very unlikely) it would have to have a much longer time difference, such as 12-18 months, and all pleas for an unban would be viewed on a case by case basis.

Speaking personally, forgiveness is a thing that is always positive and in theoretical situations forgiveness always works the best, but unfortunately there are tons of bad eggs that would turn this wrong.

Who knows, maybe our forgiveness policy on hacking will change in the future but there are no promises ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But if the anti cheat is as good as everyone is saying, these hacks will be banned again straight away
