You don't have to be very specific about it, just hacked clients in general.

Sprinting Sideways and backwards doesn't work on multiplayer, I believe. The developer of the mod wasn't trying to make it a hack, just trying to get rid of the multiplayer wobble sprint bug. So chances are it wouldn't be continually made, as the single sprint button is the main reason people get the mod. Anyway, I think it should be legalized at that point, as there is no reason not to.

I think I saw someone say that hitting someone will in fact stop your sprint.

Guys, I don't think anyone has mentioned this but...
if you click the sprint key, you will sprint until you hit something or hit a wall. You have to click the key again.
Your sprint will keep breaking each time it hits a wall/you hit something with your hand. It's like normal, basically.

Better Sprint Mod can still be noticeable. With the update, your sprint will still break.

But if you hold the toggle sprint button down, it really doesn't make much of a difference when you stop sprinting because it immediately starts again. I am going to love this new update.

Not really a valid suggestion, don't you think... Mojang tries to fix the sprinting. The hitting still does work, so what would ever be the point of ForceField?

Well if you are holding the sprint key you do keep a sprint from what I noticed; even when I would hit blocks I would maintain my sprint. I wouldn't know what BSM is like since I have never tried it.
