Guide Installing Mods on 1.6

I tried doing this along to a video online, after my custom made Optifine file wasnt found in launcher i dragged the original file (1.6.2) to my desktop and then the optifine folder was there and it worked flawlessly.

Bought Windows 8, bought a Mac, downloaded Ubuntu for free.

Omg don't start this. I've said this hundreds of times now.
Windows 8 is good, granted the Metro (Not "Modern" Micorsoft) UI isn't really fit for mouse and keyboard use.
Just install a start button and its great, fast boot times. and from what I can see, they're fixing a lot of the problems in Windows 8.1.

Sorry, I kinda just assume people think it's bad when they bring it up, cuz thats usually the case.

I just don't see why not? It looks solid and is easy to use.

Once again, true. Personal preference I suppose.
I don't use magic launcher, no reason, I'd just rather use the regular launcher.
