Going to make a Space MCSG map. Any ideas?

Nice corn.
Like juan said, too high, and maybe try something more space-like.

Examples:
Platforms all on bridges extending off of some miniplanet with the chests on it.
Giant UFO with smashed windows in a little room on the top in the center to get in with chests
My old wormhole idea, but it vertical leading into a pit with chests

How could i build a lethal corn if i cant build it high up? I really want to have a corn in this map true to the books and movie, at least in lethality.

I know i am asking for this AGAIN but i really need someone to set up a bukkit server to build the map on. I have used multiple guides and still cant get one going. If u can send me the I.P. first so I can tell the builders once i set up a thread asking for some. Please make me an Op and i will tell u more names of Ops once i get their correct names written down

As you can see this corn is surrounded by lava to kill tributes in a PvE death

This corn is built with a drop into the void.

I like the general idea of the map but the corn shouldn't be lethal at all, and would probably wouldn't have a chance to be accepted if your corn were those past 3 examples.

Try to make the corn artistic, not harmful, imagine how easy it would be for me to just camp on top of the chests and just punch anyone who tries to jump over into fall damage/lava/void?

Thanks for the ideas i will implement them into new corns i build. P.S. When i saw your map and how good it looked i decided to make a map of my own hoping it would be that good

No problem, I wasn't trying to sound high horse or anything, just trying to help, I'm going to quote ZombieTracker
on the first map review he did for me.

"The center of the cornucopia needs to be changed and the tower that the chests are on needs to be removed. The tower presents an unfair advantage and makes it easy for one person to take full control."

This was the main reason my first map got denied, I was just trying to help so your map doesn't get denied.

Sounds like a cool idea. What I'd do (I might make one like this eventually) is have it be in a space station. I'd delete all the ground around it and build it at a low altitude, really close to the Void. I wouldn't bother with a glass dome, since the station would be sealed, and the tributes wouldn't be able to get out of it.

What steps did you take to get the server up?
