What has happened to MCSG?

Originally it didn't but as you can see by the post I originally quoted, this thread had started turning into a "Hurr durr, let's bash TeamVareide" thread.

I just don't believe that it was right for any of what happened to happen. People could have expanded on MCSG and made it better. Maybe it's just my loyalty to mcsg thats clouding my judgement though. I guees I was just mad that TV left MCSG and I still think it was wrong after Chad did all of this for the survival games community.

As of right now the only advantage the Hive has on mcsg in my opinion is the lag. There is almost no server lag over there and the same cant be said for mcsg.

The only other complaint I would have is what blamph said. False promises. They told us leader boards would be better, tournaments and achievements. None of these have been fulfilled and it is kind of a let down.

As far as the community goes I feel that we are on a recovery from the bacca pandemic that infected so much of our community. It cause many well known people to leave and this has also cause some un-easyness in the community. I remember not too long ago I could join a server and see 5-6 friendly people I knew, know all I see it people raging and arguing.

I feel that if chad and the developers focus on more of the current prevalent issues instead of focusing on unnessary stuff such as changing chest, adding new servers, and changing the chat and started fixing problems and adding more of the highly requested stuff the community can grow. At this point it seems as if they are cattering more to the casual newby that just joined instead of making the devoted players that have been here a while happier.

Mcsg is on a decline but can come back if make some changes. If they continue to leave us in the dark about most topics and not making drastic changes mcsg could see a dark future but if they start doing these things mcsg could be better than ever.

I'm pretty sure it has been said that those things will be coming. If anything it would be a false promise is they were here all ready. Chad said they would be releasing each part of MCSGv2 at different time to ensure that everything worked well together on a large scale. While It probably could have been done a little more quickly, you cant say it's a false promise until you're told you wont be getting it. It's still there and still waiting to be added last I checked.
