Trying to change someone's beliefs? That's a scum move, I'm outties.
No I'm not. Im saying if you are curious about evolution this is a good book. Evolution isn't a belief, its a fact. Isn't that what this debate about? Trying to support your own side? Don't read it, I don't care.

Do you even signature?

But seriously. I think that the whole reason humans came up with the idea of "God" and "Heaven" is because, we, as humans can't come to grip with the fact that when we die, we fall into an endless darkness of sorts. Because some people are so scared of this, or perhaps simply cant comprehend it, they felt the need to come up with the idea of some kind of ending that doesnt end. Some kind of creator.

I think if there's one thing we should take away from this debate, discussion, argument, whatever it is, its that whatever the ending is, whoever is right, we should live life to the fullest, because really... None of us really know whats going to happen...

EDIT: Thought I might attach this song, its pretty good and kinda displays how I thought about god for a while.

Substance dualism is extremely flawed, if we are anything outside of our reality then we are brains in jars.
I personally agreed with this, and reject Cartesian dualism. I purposed that mostly in response to posts I'd been seeing about science being used to for or against an incorporeal entity and clearing up some misunderstandings of science

What I'm about to say is my personal opinion. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion (except hackers) :p:

I do not believe in the existence of god. To this day, Christians around the world advertise their "God" as, omnipotent and benevolent. But if God is really benevolent, then why do we suffer? For me, this does not make sense. This is a Philosophical debate that is currently being discussed around the world.

Sorry if you do not agree with me. :( Don't hate.

I'm agnostic. I feel religion is useful, however I feel religion is only useful for giving the hopeless hope.
Well I was coming onto this thread to give my opinion in an extensive essay, but I think you nicely summarised it in a matter of a sentence.
